A lovely shot of M50440 still in very original condition but carrying the earlier version of the BR blue livery with half yellow warning panel. Interestingly the non smoking seating in the front compartment appears to have been upholstered in a different colour to smoking further back. The 3-car set is stabled between duties at Derby and the rearmost (DMCL) car still carries green livery (Norman Browne)
